Frequently asked questions
Full answers on quotes, timing, documents, payment, and how we work. For the five essentials, see the homepage.
Quote & pricing
How requests work and what shapes the fee.
-
The fee depends on document structure, content complexity, readability, and our availability.
It covers one sworn official document (traducción jurada) with digital stamp and electronic signature.
Attach a clear PDF or scan — we reply within 24 hours with a clear price.
-
See How it works<a> for the three steps. In short: fill the form, send the email with your PDFs, get a clear price within 24 hours.
Urgent options (2 / 3 / 4 business days, next day 6h / 12h / 24h, or all options) are available when we can take them; the urgency price is variable.
-
The quote is a formal offer, valid for 48 hours.
By confirming or paying, you accept its terms. After 48 hours, price and timeline may change with our workload.
Timing & delivery
Standard timelines, urgency windows, and how you receive the file.
-
Standard is about 3–4 business days — an indicative estimate.
Time starts from full payment and the receipt of the final document(s).
Weekends and Italian/Spanish public holidays do not count. We work on Madrid/Rome time (CET/CEST).
-
Yes — as a paid option.
You can choose 2 / 3 / 4 business days, or next day within 24h / 12h / 6h, subject to our availability. The urgency price is variable.
You can also ask us to quote all urgency options for a full overview at that moment. The surcharge is what makes the window guaranteed.
Urgent jobs are prioritised over standard ones; within urgent, first confirmed and paid is first served — subject to availability.
-
By email as a digitally signed PDF with electronic stamp and certification formula.
Delivery is digital only — that is the official sworn format we provide.
-
Madrid/Rome time (CET/CEST). We reply within 24 hours.
Saturdays, Sundays, and Italian/Spanish public holidays are non-working days for delivery timelines.
-
We may contact you if something is hard to read. You can send extra documents anytime.
After the payment receipt there may be a short delay in replies — the receipt is enough for us to proceed.
Documents & acceptance
What to send, language pair, apostille, and official format.
-
Yes — for procedures that require a MAEC-appointed sworn translation (traducción jurada). We deliver that official digitally signed PDF.
Acceptance of a specific filing still depends on the authority’s other requirements (document type, apostille, etc.).
-
A clear, legible PDF or scan of each document to translate is enough for the quote and for the work.
Attach the files when you send the email request.
We deliver the sworn translation as a digitally signed PDF by email, with electronic stamp and signature.
-
A translation certified by a Traductor Jurado appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC), with digital stamp and electronic signature.
It is the official form for many filings in Spain (extranjería, education, health, UGE, telework visas, and similar).
-
English ↔ Spanish only on this site — both directions.
-
We translate only the part that needs conversion (EN→ES or ES→EN).
Send a clear PDF or scan with your quote request and we confirm the billable scope.
-
When required, the apostille usually goes on the original document in the issuing country — not on the sworn translation.
We can outline the usual workflow in the quote.
-
If the authority asks for a sworn translation (traducción jurada), yes.
Send us the existing translation and any feedback from the office. We can prepare the official digitally signed sworn format so it is compliant. Work is quoted before we start.
Payment
When work starts and how you pay.
-
After you approve the quote and we receive full payment confirmation plus the receipt of the final document(s).
Two instalments (50/50) only for orders of more than 15 documents.
